Recent Testimonials

I have worked with Will many times, initially with Top Gear and then subsequently on my own projects.  We recently returned from an Alpine shoot for BBC2, where Will’s multi skilled approach was invaluable, switching between doc style actuality moments with contributors and capturing epic cinematic vistas.  He was also graciously uncomplaining as I bounced him around in the back of a 4×4 while tracking motorcycles off road!

Grant Wardrop – Executive Producer

Will, Director of Photography, filmed a documentary in Far East Russia. Nine cameras were used, to capture the great landscapes and drama for BBC2’s – The Worlds Most Dangerous Roads. We  followed two comedians along the renowned ‘Road of Bones’, which is  one of the harshest place on earth, due to the extreme temperature , which fall bellow -53 degree. Filming in extreme conditions and potential  life threatening environments is challenging as well as rewarding, but we had a good team behind us making informed and calculating decisions , which  kept everyone safe, resulting in an amazing documentary.

Sam Simon – Directer/Producer

Can i just say how much I enjoyed working with Will (and his toys) on the Art of China shoot. I certainly cant complain at the speed Will works. He frames beautifully,  hand-held work is superb and even persuaded me to be a bit more adventurous with ‘the toys’. I loved the jib for example at the Kaifeng Night Market. Particularly the night market tracking shot with the presenter Andrews Graham Dixson’s PTC – I knew that I was working with a cameraman who absolutely knows his job. So yes if he can find a hole in his busy schedule and Will is not fully booked I would love to work with him again. Ive already told another friends who are also ex BBC producer about him.
